2. Description of Service

Studimoe is an AI-powered academic assistant that integrates with Learning Management Systems (LMS) to help students organize their assignments, create study plans, and receive feedback on their work.

3. Artificial Intelligence Features

Our services include features that utilize artificial intelligence (AI), including large language models (collectively, \"AI Features\").

  • Probabilistic Nature: You acknowledge that AI-generated Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate due to its probabilistic nature.
  • User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any Output before using it for academic purposes.
  • No Warranty: All Output is provided \"as is\" without any warranty of accuracy or suitability for a particular academic requirement.

4. User Accounts and Data

You retain ownership of any data or content you upload to Studimoe (\"User Data\"). By using Studimoe, you grant us a license to use your User Data to provide and improve our services.

  • Free Tiers: We may use anonymized User Data from free accounts to train our AI models.
  • Pro Tiers: Pro users may opt-out of data usage for model training.
  • Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use Studimoe.

5. Acceptable Use and Academic Integrity

You agree to use Studimoe in compliance with your educational institution's academic integrity policies. Studimoe is designed to assist learning, not to facilitate plagiarism or cheating. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of AI-generated content follows the guidelines set by your instructors.

6. Third-Party LMS Integrations

Studimoe's interoperation with third-party LMS providers (like Canvas or Google Classroom) is subject to the terms of those providers. We are not responsible for any changes or restrictions imposed by these third parties that may affect Studimoe's functionality.

7. Payment and Subscriptions

Subscription fees for Pro features are billed in advance. You can cancel your subscription at any time, but we do not provide refunds for partial months of service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studimoe and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service or reliance on AI-generated content.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
